International Turkish Hope School, Uttara Preschool and Junior organized an International
Culture Festival on the 3rd of March 2016. ITHS Parents from many different countries around
the world had booths to exhibit and sell their traditional food, clothes, showpieces and anything
related their culture. The festival was open to public and lots of people crowded the venue from
10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Mr. Isa Guler, Head of Section of ITHS Uttara Preschool & Junior Section, thanked the
participant parents and visitors for their presence in the opening speech of the programme. In
his speech Mr. Guler said: “As International Turkish Hope School, we give utmost importance
to expressing and exchanging values and customs which we believe play a vital role in
achieving and maintaining a peaceful world.”
Besides displaying traditional goods and food in their respective booths, students, parents &
teachers had stage performances as well. Some of the performances include traditional dances,
solo and chorus songs, briefings by students & parents.
At the end of the function, parents and visitors from different nationals thanked the school authority with warm wishes for organizing such a wonderful festival.
