ITHS Uttara Preschool & Junior Section 2015 - 2016 Academic Year Archive: January 2016

What could be more entertaining than warming up with a game of football during these lovely days of winter? On the 21st, 22nd, and 23rd of January, ITHS Uttara Preschool & Junior Section held a Football Tournament which was open for all the fathers of our students and male teachers. The participants’ family members were also welcomed as they were sure to add more enjoyment to the event.

A total of 8 teams with 70 players participated in the tournament. Several electrifying matches took place between the teams which finally boiled down to 2 semi-finals and a final match between four of the strongest teams in the tournament. The 3rd and the 4th place were secured by All Stars Club and Royal Bengal Tigers, respectively. Team Green Land and Talents Union went head to head for the last and final match of the tournament, where Green Land took the victory. The exhilaration among the players, their families, and supporters was hard to miss as they cheered on tirelessly for their teams. The event concluded with wishes and words of support for all the participants which were shared over delicious refreshments.

The tournament opened up an excellent opportunity for the teachers and parents to kick-off the New Year and the final term of the academic year with energy and togetherness which we hope will persevere throughout the year.
